The CE Shop is an Idaho approved real estate course provider-#149

Renewal Date: Every 2 years

Hours required: 20

The core for this year through July 1, 2011 is a 4 hour core course. Currently, The CE Shop does not offer this core. Per Idaho guidelines, no licensee may obtain continuing education credit for completing (a) any core course curriculum for which they have previously received continuing education credit for; or (b) any course curriculum for which they have received continuing education credit in the same license period. It is the licensee's responsibility to ensure they do not repeat a core course for CE credit or take the same course in the same license period.

CE Shop Offering: 16 elective

Seat time: There is a state requirement that a licensee must spend 50 minutes for every hour the course is approved fo in the course. The course timing mechanism will keep track of your course time.

ReportingReal estate course completions are recorded with the Idaho REC each business day. It may take three weeks from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.

Expiration date of course: Courses expire one year after the order date.

Final Exams: Per Idaho guidelines, you will be allowed to attempt the final exam on each of your courses twice (75% passing rate).  Per the state’s requirements for online CE courses, a licensee has two (2) attempts on the final exam. If the exam is not passed the second time, the licensee must repurchase and retake the entire course, including the final exam.

Certificates:  Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time.  Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
